• About 400 students each year
• Two classes per grade, K-5: one Spanish, one Japanese
• Classes loop for two years: K-1, 2-3, 4-5 stay with the same teachers
• School population includes about 60 students in the Bilingual Orientation Center.

JSIS's student population is growing!  Starting Fall 2009, JSIS will be adding a second Japanese immersion track to the school. In addition to our current Japanese and Spanish immersion tracks, JSIS will start with an additional Japanese kindergarten this September and then add a grade each year.
