Levies 2010 Community Meeting

The Operations Levy renews every three years and represents about 22% of the District’s annual general fund budget and supports basic educational programs not fully funded by the state.
 
The Buildings, Technology and Academics III (BTA III) Capital Levy is placed before the voters every six years and funds hundreds of small renovations and major maintenance projects, technology and academic initiatives.
 
Preliminary levies funding recommendations were presented at a School Board work session September 2 at the John Stanford Center. A report is posted to our Web site.
 
The purpose of the community meetings is to inform the public, present information and answer questions. Interpreters will be at the workshops for the following languages: Amharic, Cambodian, Chinese, Oromo, Somali, Spanish, Tagalog, Tigrigna and Vietnamese
